On the 11th April 1912 the Baseball Season started. New York had two teams, The New York Giants in the National League and the New York Highlanders in the American League. By the end of the season the Giants would top the National League, loosing to the Boston Red Sox in the World Series. The Giants would become the New York Mets. The New York Highlanders would finish bottom of the American League. In 1903 they would become the New York Yankees.
